Polk County has landed a Chick-fil-A supply and distribution center, a $150 million project expected to create more than 180 jobs. 

Dubbed Chick-fil-A Supply, the facility is in Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park in Winter Haven. The 244,000-square-foot distribution facility will be No. 12 for the popular fast food chain nationwide and the second in Florida, joining one in Weston. The center will serve around 170 restaurants and plans to open in 2027, according to a statement from FloridaCommerce. 

The facility is a partnership between the Winter Haven Economic Development Council, CSX and the State of Florida and the project includes $1.5 million from the state.  

"Chick-fil-A Supply is committed to investing in local communities to create jobs and strengthen support for locally owned and operated Chick-fil-A restaurants,” Chick-fil-A Supply Executive Director Josh Grote says in the statement. "We're grateful to Winter Haven and the State of Florida for the opportunity to become part of the community and look forward to serving Chick-fil-A restaurants across the state." 

The Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park, according to its tenant prospectus from the developer, Phoenix-based Tratt Properties, is a 930-acre site that can accommodate over eight million square feet of development in proximity to major thoroughfares and the CSX Rail Intermodal Facility.
